Vasarely et l’instabilité du réel, une première rencontre avec l’art à The Camp le 30 avril 2019

Pour ce premier événement consacré à l’histoire de l’art, la conférence portera sur Vasarely et ses illusions d’optique. Situé en Provence, The Camp se tourne vers l’apport des peintres provençaux dans l’art. Le créateur de l’Op’art, dont la fondation est à Aix-en-Provence, a su manier la réalité pour en montrer d’autres dimensions. Il s’est servi de la lumière et d’effets visuels novateurs, basés sur de la géométrie, pour amener le spectateur à s’interroger sur sa certitude que ce qu’il voit est vrai. Explorer son rapport avec le réel sera au centre du débat animé par l’agence de médiation culturelle Des Mots et des Arts.
